Felipe Fleury

Felipe Fleury is an attorney admitted to practice before the Brazilian Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil – OAB) and the Portuguese Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados de Portugal). He is a Ph.D. candidate in Tax Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. He holds an LL.B. from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), a Graduate Specialization in Tax Law from the Brazilian Institute of Tax Studies (Instituto Brasileiro de Estudos Tributários – IBET), and an LL.M. in State Law from PUC-SP.

He is a Professor of Tax Law in the Graduate Tax Law Program at IBET, where he also serves as an academic supervisor for graduate research projects. He previously taught Tax Law and Administrative Law in the undergraduate law program at the Autonomous School of Law (Faculdade Autônoma de Direito – FADISP).

With nearly two decades of experience in tax law, Mr. Fleury advises clients on both tax advisory and tax controversy matters involving Brazilian, Portuguese, and international tax law. His practice focuses on the prevention and resolution of tax disputes before administrative authorities and courts, estate and succession planning, complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and investments, and the provision of tax advisory services covering all areas of taxation for individuals, families, and corporate clients.
